Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties has been awarded the opportunity to develop residential property at 4312 46th Ave. N in St. Petersburg. This is the latest project given to Habitat by Pinellas County. This development, called The Greenway, will consist of 12 single-family homes and is a testament to Habitat’s ongoing efforts to provide affordable homeownership solutions and foster community growth.

This new development comes on the heels of a major milestone for Habitat’s commitment to the Lealman Community. In 2023 alone, Habitat has completed 15 new home builds in Lealman. Notably, Habitat’s 800th home was built in Lealman and dedicated back on March 24th. Lealman also served as the site of Habitat’s 2nd Annual CEO Build, an event that brought together 55 CEOs from around the area and country to construct a home for a deserving family. This initiative raised over $165,000 and ended with keys being handed over to the Diaz-Gonzales Family in April.

Habitat has helped lead the way in the County’s overall vision of the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area (CRA), which includes projects to improve and revitalize neighborhoods, parks, housing, and waterways.
