Celebrating the 50th edition of the Lealman Voice

In February 2023, the St. Petersburg Foundation started the Lealman Voice, a bi-weekly email newsletter to connect Lealman residents with resources, events and community updates. On January 17, 2025, the 50th edition of the Lealman Voice went out to more than 800 subscribers, a successful milestone in the Foundation’s mission to connect the people of Lealman through the Lealman Exchange.

The St. Petersburg Foundation, in partnership with Pinellas County, operates the Lealman Exchange community center. Part of this partnership includes building capacity through community outreach, which sparked the foundation to create the Lealman Voice newsletter.

The Lealman Exchange Community Center (LEX) is owned by Pinellas County and operated as a public/private partnership between the County and the St. Petersburg Foundation. We and our tenants share one goal: building a better tomorrow within the Lealman Community.
