Let’s Move @ LEX
The weekly fitness lineup keeps residents active every day of the week:
- Mondays and Wednesdays: Adult pickleball, 9-11:30 a.m., and adult drop-in basketball, 6-9 p.m.
- Tuesdays: SilverSneakers, 9-10 a.m. and 11 a.m.-noon, and Total Parkinson’s, 10-11 a.m.
- Thursdays: SilverSneakers, 9-10 a.m., Total Parkinson’s, 10-11 a.m., and seated volleyball, 11:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: Cardio drumming, 6-7 p.m.
- Fridays: YMCA Gentle Yoga, 9:30-10:30 a.m., plus Friday Night Pickleball. Grab a paddle and join us from 6 to 9 p.m. on select Friday nights: Oct. 9, 16 and 30, Nov. 20, and Dec. 4 and 11.
Learn Something New: St. Pete Film Workshop
Lealman Exchange is the host site of the brand-new St. Pete Film Workshop, offering hands-on fall classes taught by working professionals. No experience is required, and class sizes are small.
- Introduction to Screenwriting: Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct. 26-Dec. 7, 7-9 p.m. The class ends with a live table read of your finished script.
- Film Production 101: Tuesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 27-Dec. 8, 7-9 p.m. The class ends with a student film screening for friends and family.
