Lealman, an unincorporated neighborhood in central Pinellas County is home to more than 30,000 residents. Citing the potential for Community Redevelopment, Pinellas County has identified Lealman as a Community Redevelopment Area (CRA.) Community stakeholders, local partners, and County staff have joined to form the Lealman Engagement Committee to plan and develop public events & celebrations in Lealman.
In December 2022, the committee hosted the first annual Lealman Holiday Tree Lighting in Lealman Park.
In February 2022, the committee hosted the first annual Honey & Arts Festival in Ray Neri Park to thousands of residents who enjoyed great music, amazing food and fantastic wares.
Upcoming – On July 4, 2023, the Raymond H. Neri Community Park will be the location of the first of many 4th of July Celebrations and will boast
– Laser lightshow and fireworks at dusk
– Food trucks
– Beer and Wine garden
– Free hot dogs for the children
– Music and fun activities for the entire family

The Lealman Engagement Events Committee’s inception in June of 2022 inspired immediate action by local organizations and partners to develop and host the first of many events in Lealman. An unincorporated neighborhood in central Pinellas County home to more than 30,000 residents.
