The Lealman Exchange (LEX) invites all local residents to attend the 1st Annual LEX Listens, a community event designed to hear directly from neighbors about their experiences with the center—and their ideas for its future.” The event will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2025, at the Lealman Exchange community center.
As a trusted hub for programs supporting education, wellness, and economic opportunity, the Lealman Exchange plays a key role in the daily lives of many area residents. This event is an opportunity for the community to share feedback on how LEX is serving their needs—and how it can evolve to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead.
“We exist to serve the community,” says Becca McCoy, Lealman Navigator. “And it is time to check in with our neighbors directly to find out what’s working, and what the unmet needs are that we can address.”
The evening will feature:
- Open discussion sessions focused on lived experiences and ideas
- Updates on local initiatives and resources
- Opportunities to propose new programs and partnerships
- Information tables hosted by local organizations
All community members are welcome, whether you’re a regular visitor or just curious about what LEX can offer. Your voice matters—and this is your chance to help shape the future of a space built for and by the people of Lealman.
